Unreel
A digital wellbeing app that shows people how many reels they really scroll.
The challenge
Short videos are designed to keep people watching, and an hour can disappear without being noticed. A simple time limit is easy to dismiss, so the product had to make the habit visible in the moment.
What we built
Unreel shows a small live counter while the user scrolls on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and TikTok. Limits and cool-downs step in when the user goes past their own target, and weekly duels add a friendly reason to stay on track. It only counts: it does not read messages or record the screen.
